Hi Krunal, I’m currently on PR and recently got married. We applied for a tourist visa for my wife, but it was refused under clause 600.211, stating that the genuine temporary entrant requirement was not satisfied. My wife is currently unemployed, although we submitted her family property documents as evidence of ties to her home country. What are the chances of success if we reapply under the Family Sponsored stream? Also, would you recommend applying for a student visa instead?

If once the tourist visa is refused, then not worth applying again. Why don’t you apply for 309 visa first and then apply for family sponsored tourist visa? Best wishes!
