Hello Krunal Sir, I submitted my EOI in February 2025 under the University Lecturer occupation as an offshore candidate. My points are 65 for SC 189, 70 for SC 190, and 80 for SC 491. I have applied for SC 491 in NSW, SA, VIC, and ACT, and for SC 190 in NSW. Could you please advise when I might expect an invitation and the likelihood of receiving one?

With 65 points for SC 189, 70 for SC 190, and 80 for SC 491 as an offshore university lecturer, the likelihood of receiving an invitation soon is low, since recent rounds show a strong preference for onshore applicants, higher scores, and critical sectors. Some offshore candidates in priority occupations do get invited, but competition is intense and overall invitation numbers remain limited in all major states for SC 491 and SC 190. Monitoring each state’s updates is essential, but a significant wait or need for higher points should be expected.
