I have a question regarding the 190 visa requirements. It mentions that applicants must have “paid back any debt to the Australian Government.” I have lodged my 190 visa, and I’m currently on a payment plan with the ATO for a tax amount. Does this count as meeting the requirement, or will it affect my visa application or I have to clear all amount?

I think you didn’t read it the full sentence. If you are on payment plan with ATO then the department should accept it.
