Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491)

Sir🙏🙏I’m on a Subclass 500 visa (still active) but now applied 485 application with an inactive bridging visa. I meet NSW 491 Pathway 1 criteria and will apply for EOI first, then Pathway 1 when it opens. Worked as cook (Oct 2023–Apr 2024), chef from May 2024, on TSMIT pay ($37.50/hr Aug 2024 → $40/hr Jul 2025). My question: in my contract, what salary and start date should show to meet TSMIT chef requirements?

on what basis visa 491 sc is chosen, someone with high skilled experience with low points (70) can get invite? i need answer for low scoring candidates with high skilled exp.

Hello sir, I would like to ask you a question. A person who is already living in the Regional and like that person lives in Adelaide and he gets an invite / nomination of 491 visa from the NT government and he goes to Darwin Northern Territory and accepts the invite / nomination and lodges the 491 visa file. So can the man come back to Adelaide and work, or does he have to stay in Darwin until he gets his 491 visa grant letter? ? ?

My age is 39 now and PTE is competenet, 12+ years exp in mechanical engineering, points including state nomination 70 (+15 points). can i still be able to PR thru 491 SC? my opinion is tough though, pls give your comments. THanks

I am currently in onshore and got my invite for 491 visa.I have applied my EOI as single and claimed 10 points. The wait time for grant is around 20+ months and in mean time if I want to get married, does this impact for my visa grant? I can look for a partner who would be able to help to to achieve the same 10 points by completing Skills assessment + English. Does this scenario help even if we maintain the same point during grant. Thanks in advance.

Hi Krunal sir I lodge my PR file 1.5 year ago in regional Victoria, I got a field job in regional Victoria. Occupation:- Mechanical Engineering Total PR points 95, and salary base is enough as per government guidelines. Still I didn’t get invite. So when government will give priority for mechanical engineer? Thanks

if I have 70 points for nsw 491 stream 3, what are my chances as a civil engineer 233211 ?
